The Good People of Maine

The Maine State Senate, just moments ago, voted to equalize marriage rights so gay people can marry there.

The bill now moves to the House, which is more liberal than the Senate, so passage seems assured. Gov. Baldacci is thought to be leaning towards signing the Bill.
