Are State's Growing Weary of the Incentives Game?

At least two North Carolina legislators are working to eliminate the game that state's play with economic incentives designed to lure new business. Reps. Philip Frye and Pryor Gibson reportedly have urged an end to the practice of government incentives being offered to private business. The Asheville-Citizen Times covers the story.

This practice of awarding tax breaks and other incentives has to end.
